Hi! This is my portfolio, and my name is Veronica Abt.
I've been surrounded by technology and creativity since I was a child.
My father works as a computer programmer, while my mother is a computer teacher and web designer. As a result, I figured I'd end up doing something similar to them.
I enjoy learning new things and trying out new activities.
This website allows me to present the world way I see it. I hope you enjoy looking at the world through my eyes. It combines my passion for art and writing with my primarily self-taught technological abilities.

My mother took this picture when I was about nine years old. It is such a simple picture, but still mesmerizing. My mother is constantly taking pictures, so it might have been my inspiration for wanting to take photos.

This is taken in the garden in my childhood home. My mother loves flowers and gardening and so do I. A lot of my drawings and sketches include flowers and nature. I like to think my mother helped inspire me to like nature so much.

This photo was taken by my mother when we went to a Yankees game in New York. My father loves the Yankees and I grew up playing softball. I love sports and having fun with family and friends.

This photo was taken by one of my friends when we went to a hedgehog cafe in Tokyo. It was during my year-long study abroad at Waseda University. It was my best year of college and it helped me get to Japan after I graduated from university in 2018.
